My wife and I would like to express our complete satisfaction with the work you did for us on our home.  As you might remember in late October we contacted you as well as several other contractors because of a leaking roof on our home.  Your were very prompt in evaluating the situation and providing us with a very complete estimate of what needed to be done and what options you could offer.  The prices you quoted were all well within the same range as the other estimates we received, and your promptness, reputation and promise of quick action convinced us to choose your company to replace the roof and gutters as well as gutter guards.  I had anticipated that your promise of two days to do the job was far too short an estimate, so when the crew (of about 15 people) arrived at 7:30 AM and were finished with the roof by 4 PM I was very surprised and pleasantly impressed.  Heavy rains delayed the gutter job for three days, but on Saturday despite a slight sprinkling, your men showed up again.  The crew (this time fewer men but just as efficient) to replace the gutters and install gutter guards arrived early and were done by shortly after noon.  You had said the men would clean up any mess they made and they sure did.  When they left at the end of each of the two days they worked, there was not a nail, particle of shingle or any other debris of any sort to be found.  Probably the best thing of all was the price.  I had anticipated that the clause in the contract stating that any damaged or rotten wood would be replaced and the cost of materials and labor would be added to the price meant that we would have to pay a handsome extra fee.  However, the cost above the estimate was less than 1% of the total.   Again thank you for a job well done by a most efficient yet friendly and courteous crew.  I would be very happy to recommend your services to anyone in need of them.

I just can't tell you how much I love the work that was done at my house by Fichtner.  The guys you have working for you are a true asset to your company.  They are all extremely nice and are very hard workers.  They know what they are doing and they go non-stop from the time they get here until the job is complete and that includes the cleaning up of everything.  You would never know that they had been here working all day if you didn't see them actually doing it.

Mike - as always you came through and listened to what I wanted and gave me that.  Nolan - you were terrific in everything that you did -  you got the guys started and tried to get me everything I needed and asked for plus went running around to get parts when they were needed.  And Meghan - you were always so cheerful and pleasant to talk with about scheduling and rescheduling.  I was a real pain to work with and you were all so patient with me.

I plan to send you pictures of a before and after, but the pictures haven't all been put on my computer yet so I will probably not be able to get to doing that until next week.

Once again though "THANK YOU" for everything you did.  I will highly recommend your company to others.  And I do plan to go to your website and write a review.

I cannot tell you how grateful I am that you sent Matthew to my house yesterday. Fortunately it was a very windy day and the sound emanating from the skylights was very obvious. Your workmen told me that the skylight boxes had never been properly sealed and needed additional screws and nails. The sound completely disappeared yesterday as soon as they finished their work. They indicated to me that they also addressed the flashing around the chimney, HVAC conduit and air pipe, which is where the leak occurred in the last two weeks. They also tightened the flashing over the leak in my bedroom ceiling. I feel confident that all of the issues have now been addressed satisfactorily and thank you again.

For over 30 years I worked with my husband in his consulting engineering office. Work consisted of all types of construction, large and small in scope, giving me an understanding of complexity of projects.
